The beauty industry is saturated with products and brands claiming to make women look younger.
But Liz Earle has been a reliable brand for decades and many of its customers rave about the Superskin range.
The brand said: “Here at Liz Earle Beauty, we don’t believe in the idea of ‘anti-ageing’. Instead, we prefer to think of our Superskin™ range as pro-age, created with powerful botanical ingredients to support you and your skin at every life stage.”
The Superskin Moisturiser with natural neroli is a particular best seller. It’s “packed with powerful plant ingredients”.
The “luxurious botanical blend delivers up to 72 hours of hydration and is enriched with firming pomegranate flower extract and a trio of pure plant oils including cranberry, rosehip and nutritious British borage seed to lock in moisture”.
But what do customers think? 2315 reviews have been left on Liz Earle’s website, with a 4.9 out of five-star average rating.
Susie W who is aged 55-64 said: “I have been using this product for two years before I used without neroli my skin is lovely and I often get taken for being 10 years younger- I’ve been using Liz Earle products for nearly 24 years I can’t use anything else.”
Someone named Princess Treacle, also aged between 55-64 explained her experience of using the cream: “I’ve been using Liz Earle for nearly six months now and ….. WOW! It does what it says on the tin, so to speak. I’ve tried a few of the products and my skin looks and feels amazing.
“I have tried many products over the years and this one is truly the best. My favourite is the face wash and the face serum. A little pricey, but it works. I’m 60 now and want to look the best I can. When I tell people my age, they are amazed.”
Another happy customer said it’s a great cream for anyone going through menopause: “I’ve been using this for over a month now and it has worked wonders on my dry skin. Nothing was helping it and my foundation was looking very patchy and flaky even after using serums and moisturizer. After applying this moisturizer I can go a full day and my skin still looks dewy! I love it.
“My fine lines have become a lot less noticeable now and I’ve received so many compliments about my skin. Definitely try if you are suffering with the effects of menopause like I was.”
“Have been using Liz Earle for some years now, I am 52 and have many compliments on my skin, I use the full range and even the perfume which is divine, this is the only skincare range that leaves my skin hydrated and glowing,” another wrote online.
As for how best to use it, step one is to apply the cream to the face with your fingertips. Using firm pressure, smooth in upward and outward motions.
Then with your fingertips, lightly smooth in outward circular movements along the cheekbones to above the eyebrows.
Step three, using your thumb and ring finger, gently pinch along the brow bone from the nose to the outer edge of the brow.
Finish by gently sweeping your hands up the neck and over the decolletage.
As for why customers will love this moisturiser, the brand claims it “reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles” and “nourishes, leaving skin looking plumper and feeling smooth”.
Liz Earle’s Superskin™ Moisturiser with natural neroli is £45 for a 50ml jar.
